Configuring Your User Preferences

The system admin configures the default user preferences for all users. You can customize these settings for yourself.

To customize your user preferences:

1. Open the User drop-down menu.
   
   
2. Select User Preferences.
3. Use the fields to configure your user preferences.
4. Click Save.

User Preferences include:

• Display settings, including severity style.

• Timezone settings.

• Alert console settings.

• Tutorial settings.

• User management settings.

• ECM REST API.

About the Slack Settings

To create a new token

1. From your desktop, visit the Legacy Tokens page at api.slack.com/custom-integrations/legacy-tokens

2. Scroll to find the workspace and member that you'd like to create a token for.

3. Click Create token. (You may see Request token if the Approved Apps feature is turned on for your workspace.)

To Re-issue a token

1. From your desktop, visit the Legacy Tokens page at api.slack.com/custom-integrations/legacy-tokens

2. Scroll to find the workspace and user that you'd like to re-issue a token for.

3. Click Re-issue token. (You may see Request token if your workspace has the Approved Apps feature enabled.)
