Creating Service Models

To create a service model:

1. Click the Service Model tab.
   
   
   
2. Click Create.
3. Provide a name and description for the service model.
4. Double click in the Tag Name area to start adding tag names to the service model.
5. Double click in the Entity Name area to start adding entities to the service model. When you click a icon, the Select an Entity dialog box appears, listing the entities, and associated aliases and entity groups.
6. Click Save.

ECM generates the Service Model using the given entities and those associated with the alerts tagged with the given tags. The existing relationships between these entities is depicted in the Service Model. The service model appears in the Service Graph pane. The service graph pane works much like the entity graph pane. See Using Entity Graph.
